To Meagan, John and the MacIntyre family, I am so sorry to learn of Shelley's passing.  Although it has been many, many years, I often think of growing up as neighbours.  Our sincere condolences.

I was  so saddened to hear of the passing of Shelley she was such a nice person to talk and joke with. My deepest condolences to all of the Family.  

I would like to express sincere condolences to all Shelley's family and friends.  Shelley was a committed and valuable volunteer with SportHamilton and Grassroots Soccer program where she gave generously of her time, knowledge and good sense of humour with all of us. Shelley will be greatly missed.  I will especially miss seeing Shelley at the Ti-Cat football games.

I had the absolute good fortune to meet Shelley through the Stoney Creek Optimist Club.  Shelley embodied the spirit of true optimism.  From the moment we met Shelley’s shining spirit of selflessness was evident.  I came to understand through our work at the Club just how involved she was in the community and how she was a champion for children with special needs.  She had the most infectious laugh and I will treasure the wonderful memories I had with Shelley over the last couple of years.  As a new member to the club, she welcomed me with open arms and I had the pleasure of working with Shelley on a number of events including the Winona Peach Festival, the Club’s first ever “Fall Fest” this past October and so many other activities.  Under her leadership as President,  she went out of her way to recognize and do so very many special things to make sure everyone was included albeit through a pandemic.  I’m so very grateful to have met Shelley and through her my life has been enriched.  Heaven has received an angel with a heart of gold.

I've known Shelley for many years. I was so happy to see her at my great-niece's baby shower where we were both decorating. It was a lovely time of catching up and sharing memories and laughs. Shelley was so happy about her Meagan's upcoming wedding and I saw true joy in her eyes. My sincerest condolences to Meagan and Shelley's family and friends. Shelley will be missed. We only got to know her since she moved to Twenty Place but we became instant friends and spent many happy hours sharing memories and enjoying  a glass of wine.
Shelly was my church buddy we went to mass together every Saturday.  We will miss her.  We still remember her saying while she was at our place in December that her one wish in life is to see her daughter Megan walk down the aisle on her wedding day.
