On Tuesday, September 22, 2015 in her 86th year, Shirley was greeted with open arms by her heavenly family. She died with dignity and grace with God in her heart. Predeceased by her husband Roger Andrew Collins and the father of her children, William Edwin Howard. Mom's pride and joy was her family; her six children, Michael (Bernice), Steven (Colleen), Phillip (Ineke), Lois (John), Jeffrey (Lori) and Darren (Melanie), ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She also inherited six step children, Paul, Peter, Sheila, Maureen, Mark and Angie and their children. Shirley loved writing, reading and recipes, family, food and fashion, Joyce, Jello and Jesus, Kleenex, cooking and the colour purple. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Thursday, September 24th from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1054 Upper Sherman Ave., on Friday, September 25th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Mt. Hamilton Cemetery.
