Stanislav (Slavo) Obrovac

Reunited with his loving wife Bare. Cherished Tata of Tomo (Jelena), Tina (Tony), Joso (predeceased), Pave (Zora), Anka (Ivica), Ive, Zvonko and Stanislav (predeceased). Devoted Dida to Tomo, Kathy, Michael, John, Robert, Kristina, Miroslav, Goran, Christopher, Tomo, Anka, Candice, Luka and Talan and Pra-Dida of many great-grandchildren in Canada, USA and Switzerland. He will be missed by his daughter-in-law Zeljka Boros (Ilija). He is predeceased by his two brothers. He will also be missed by his extended family in Ohio, Croatia, Switzerland and all over Canada. Slavo came to Canada 43 years ago with his wife and children to reunite with the rest of their family. From there, the family continued to grow and he loved helping raise his grandkids who were his pride and joy. Special thank you to the 3rd floor staff at St. Peter’s Residence at Chedoke for their compassionate care and support.

Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday, October 21 from 5-8 pm with Prayers at 5:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 10am. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
