Passed away peacefully July 18, 2012 at Shalom Village. Survived by his wife Catherine Powell, sister Mary Powell, grandson Tyler Atkinson, daughter Linda Atkinson and her husband Tom Atkinson. A special thanks to Shalom Village staff and volunteers for their loving care and support. Stan was a lifelong Hamilton resident and Stelco employee. In accordance with Stan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Marlatt Funeral Home, Hamilton. For those who wish, donations may be made to Shalom Village, Hamilton.
