Peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the age of 84. Loving husband of the late Eleni (Helen). Cherished father of Ross (Lindsey), and Olga. Loving “Papou” (grandfather) of Eleni. Dear brother of Barbara and Kosta Konstantinidis, Nick and Maria Katsaros, Alex and Afrodite Katsaros, Helen and Kiriakos Goboitsios, Demetrios Katsaros, the late Manolis Katsaros, and the late Mihalis Katsaros. Brother-in-law of Sophia and the late Bill Kokkinidis. Steve will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Greece and Canada. His smile and laughter will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Prayer service at 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 22 Head Street on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. In Steve’s memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
