Stephen William Brew

It is with our greatest sympathy that we announce that Stephen passed away in Hamilton, Ontario on November 16, 2017 at the age of 42. There were many wonderful aspects to Stephen’s life, and many ways that he touched our lives. He has left behind his two beautiful daughters Olivia, and Ashley. He will be remembered as a wonderful son, grandson, nephew, brother, brother-in-law, father, uncle, friend, cousin, cook, and a poker player. In all these ways and more, he made our lives richer and fuller. Now that he has passed away, of course there is emptiness and pain, confusion and the gift of Stephen’s life is still here with us. He lives on in our memories and stories, and in what all of us have become because of him. So we encourage you to share, today, tomorrow and the years to come, your memories of laughter and your stories of triumph, and share the pain of your loss as well. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth), Hamilton on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 am. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff and residents at Helen Zurbrigg Non Profit Homes for the exceptional care and love shown to Stephen.
