BELAN, Stjepan "Steve" Passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at the Juravinski Hospital on June 23, 2015, in his 61st year. Reunited with his dear parents Tomo and Ana. Devoted husband to Marica "Mary" for more than 37 years. Cherished father to Linda Katkic (Joey) and Tommy Belan. Loving dede to Joseph and Alessia Katkic. Beloved brother of Marija Domjancic (Mijo), vuja to Diane (Dan), Marianne (Cosimo), Michael (Brianne) and stari vuja to Lukas, Samuel, Madison, Sydney and Ava. Steve will forever live on in the hearts of his extended family, kumovi, friends in Canada, Croatia and Germany. A hardworking man, dedicating more than 35 years at Universal Handling Equipment Company Ltd. Family and friends are welcome to visitation at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Vigil prayers on Thursday at 6:15 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Our Lady Of The Angels Cemetery to follow. Donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
