It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Tavis on November 20, 2018. Tavis will be greatly missed by his loving sons Ben and Justin, mother Bev (Jerry), brother Dave (Meagan), niece Ava and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Tavis will be welcomed with open arms by his dad Dave, uncle Bob, aunt Joan and grandparents. We wish to give special thanks to Dr. Sharma and the neurosurgical team of Hamilton General, also the warm caring staff of Emmanuel House. Memorial Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 11-1 pm with Prayer Service at 1 pm. Private family interment will be held at a later date. Donations to Emmanuel House or the cancer society would be appreciated by the family.
