

Tom peacefully passed away June 15th, 2025. In his 76th year, Tom was reunited with his wife, Mary Stecura, and his son, Tommy, on Father’s Day evening. Tom was greeted by his Angels in Heaven, his parents, in-laws, and many friends and family.
As the heart of Al Beck’s Key Shop for over 60 years, Tom was THE Locksmith everyone could depend on, anytime, for anything.
Paula-Ann Beaudry, with husband Dwayne will retell his many stories, and honour his passion for life and laughter. His Granddaughters, Grace and Emily know their Papa Tom was larger than life, and will always remember how much he cherished them. Their existence gave Tom a renewed purpose and relived childhood.
Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin, Friend. Along with Locksmith, Boss, Bowler, Blackjack Player, Santa; All are roles Tom happily filled, giving all his energy and commitment to his loved ones.
Emmanuel House staff made his last weeks peaceful with their outstanding compassion and care. We will never be able to express our deep appreciation.
Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday, June 18 from 4 pm until 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 19 at 1 pm. Internment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Road, Burlington). We encourage a donation in lieu of flowers to Good Shepherd Emmanuel House.
