

CORMIER, Tom Peacefully passed away surrounded by family at Pine Villa Nursing Home on April 25, 2015, at the age of 72. Reunited with his parents Martha and Ippolite Cormier, son John, brothers; Bruce and Lloyd, sisters; Paula and Vivian. Beloved and best friend of his wife extraodinaire Karen Walker. Dear father of Lloyd (Elaine), Darryl and Devin (Tammy). Proud grandpa of Jason, Brandin, Oscar, Leah and Jada. Much loved son-in-law to "Granny" and the late Lloyd Sr. Tom will forever live on in the heart of his sister Rose, brothers and sisters-in-law; Lloyd (Jean), Jennette (Jerry), Cathy (the late Lyle), Mike (Kim), Lorretta (Bob), Teresa (Jim), Bill, Jim, Sandy, Terry. Much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews both in Hamilton and Nova Scotia. Tom was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Navy (Radio Operator), and was the Past President of the Canadian Corps Unit 45 for many years. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Pine Villa for their Amazing Care. Family and friends are welcome to visitation at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Tom had a wonderful sense of humour, a kind and giving man. One of his passions was "Santa", he donated his time graciously and proudly having all the proceeds go to "Camp Trillium". In lieu of flowers, donations to Camp Trillium or the Hamilton and Halton Alzheimer Foundation would be greatly appreciated
