Gertrude Mildred Nie, Passed away peacefully on Saturday August 31, 2019 in her 96th year. She is reunited with her husband Wilfred and children Gary and Darlene. Loving mother of Sharon and Richard (Mary). Cherished Grandmother to Kim, Kelly, Karen, Richard, Lisa, Krista, Julie, Jason, Trudi, Tobi, Chantelle and Jeffrey. Great grandmother of Tommy, Trevor, Madi, Carly, Alex, Matthew, Beckham, Ava, Kain, Sydney, Jordan, Julia, Zack, TJ, Jessie, Lucas, Jacob, Olivia, Frannie, Abigail, Hunter, Hudson, Lola and Savannah. Mother in law to Val. She will be greatly missed by extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

A visitation for Gertrude will be held Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Cresmount Funeral Home - Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Ave East, Hamilton. A funeral service will occur in the chapel Friday, September 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM followed by interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 254 Garner Rd W, in Ancaster.
