BYRON, Victor James It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing on August 30, 2008, in his 87th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Ruth (nee Ellis) for 64 years. Loving father of James and his wife Joan. Predeceased by son Robin. Grandfather to Paul (Laura), Laura and Catherine (Peter). During the war he served his country in the Air Force. After the war he worked for TRW as a Tool and Die Maker. During this time he served his community by serving as the President for his Credit Union. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 4th at Delta United Church, 47 Ottawa St. S. between Main and King. Visitation at 1:00 p.m. and the service celebrating Vic's life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Many thanks to the staff at Henderson Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to Delta United Church would be appreciated by the family.
