Passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Maria. He leaves behind many relatives in Canada, United States and Lithuania. He was retired from Stelco, where he worked from 1949-1982 and he was a supervisor in the electrical department. He was an active member of Our Lady of Mercy Lithuanian Parish and was involved in Lithunian community affairs. Visitation will be held at Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford Ave.), Hamilton, on Monday, October 3 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Rosary at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 58 Dundurn St. North, Hamilton on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. Donations, in his memory, may be made to the Lithuanian Children’s Fund and the Lithuanian Catholic Relief Fund.
