Vidas Kairys

Passed away peacefully at Emmanuel House Hospice in Hamilton on July 25, 2016.

Predeceased by his parents Stan and Helena Kairys.

He will be dearly missed by his brother, Link, sister in law Berni, niece Katie and nephew Luke along with cousins (Radauskas), those in Lithuanina and many dear friends. Vid's family would like to personally thank all the staff at Emmanuel House for their support and care during this difficult time.

Born in Toronto, grew up in the tobacco farms of Simcoe, Vidas graduated from the George Brown Culinary school and pursued his life long passion of cooking. He enjoyed the creativity and science of the culinary trade which led to many long lasting friendships.

As per Vid's wishes, there will be no formal service held. A celebration of life will be held at the family's conveniece. Kindly check back on this posting for updates.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Good Shepherd Centre in Hamilton.
