After a lengthy illness and courageous battle, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vladimir at his home on October 5, 2021.

Beloved companion to Debra Clinton. A very loving father to Vanessa Cvetko, Samantha Clinton (Mike Little) and Scott Clinton. Predeceased by his parents Vladimir Cvetko and Jolanka Zeks. Dear brother to Luba Koscal and the late Cveta Cvetko. He will be fondly remembered by family members in both Canada and in Slovenia.

An exemplary tradesman, Vlad was known for his meticulous work and devotion to his customers. In his free time, Vlad enjoyed watching sports with friends, riding his motorcycle and spending time with family.

His family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Sunday, October 10th from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Cremation will follow and a private family service will take place.

I am so sad to know that Vlad has passed. I will forever remember family get togethers, and Vlad telling everyone to “eat, eat, eat!” even though we were all full. Shooters at the bar, Vodka of course for Vlad, Super Bowl parties, backyard hangouts, and of course cheering on the Packers! Vlad was always a kind and generous man. I know he is up in heaven riding his motorcycle with my dad. Sending so much love and prayers to his beloved family and friends. He will be forever missed.

My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Vlad through my cousin Deb, Vlad was a very nice, kind man and always welcomed us into his home, Vlad was an easy person to talk to with a very kind heart, we wish we had got to know Vlad sooner but the times that we enjoyed his company we will cherish! Our sincere condolences to family and friends and especially to his partner Deb( my cousin) the two of you made us laugh and we will miss you Vlad, may you RIP

Vlad and were friends for at least ten years. We shared many soccer, football and hockey games together, Green Bay was his team. Together we tackled some home renos and i helped him install a few windows and doors. He and Deb hosted some great Grey Cup and SuperBowls bashes, i'll miss him saying to me .."have another beer" barely 3 minutes after i opened my first, And of course "EAT !". Well i know it's selfish of me but i lost a great friend.
Thinking of you Vlad, love from Drew and Kathy, Tom, Megan.
