Dorothy, Cheryl and all the family. I am saddened by your loss and knowing Walter was a blessing, not just to me but to the many others he crossed paths with. He never failed to make me smile, laugh, feel comfortable and always had good stories. He knew the bible like Cheryl knows how to play and sing..... Walter always had a scripture to share and it always resonated at the time....
Rest easy Walter....much love ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dorothy, Carol, and families; We were very sorry to hear of Walters passing but knowing he is with his Lord makes it a little easier.
We remember the fun times at Joy Bible Camp as well as your visits to see us here in Fonthill. The fun at playing shuffleboard or horseshoes and the laughing that was done will never be forgotten.
Just know you are all in our prayers.
Love in Him.

Gloria Willoughby: Our deepest sympathy and condolences to Dorothy and all the family from the Crossroads family. We feel that Walter was a part of our Prayer Centre family over the past 15 years and he definitely was someone who lived out that 'Victory in Jesus'! He and Dorothy were such a key part of our Crossroads Friday volunteer Prayer Partner teams, and we all will deeply miss him, as will the callers to the Prayer Lines who were ministered to so faithfully with God's Word and prayer. Walter's legacy of faith will continue to inspire all of us - he was such a passionate lover of God and people. May the comfort of the Father and the peace that passes all understanding be with all the family - and those who knew and loved Walter. He is now with Jesus, his Saviour he so loved and followed, praise God! Again our deepest sympathy, love and continued prayers for God's comfort to all the family.

Dear Dorothy and family,

Our deepest condolences to each of you in the passing of Walter...your loving husband and father. As I think of Walter, his warm and welcoming smile first comes to my mind.. His smile was a constant, be that in the Crossroads Prayer Centre where he ministered faithfully in prayer to so many over the years on the Prayer Lines, or his concern through support for the oppressed and marginalized through DFN Canada. He and Dorothy attended our banquets over the years...always encouraging and supporting.

You are missed Walter! Thank you for living out your love for Jesus so extravagantly.

Love,

Paul & Gloria Willoughby

Walter was a true explorer in my eyes. I loved hearing about his and Dorothy's travels. Walter had such a great memory and could always talk about every step of every trip they took. He would take out maps and photos to share their stories. I loved his humor and wit as well as his cheerful character I will love and miss him always.
Deepest sympathies to Dorothy and family.
