Wanda was an amazing sparkling soul who's smile would light up a room. She was a devoted, creative, dedicated and hard working person. Her passion and efforts for inclusion were evident in her daily presence at St. Kateri Tekakwitha CES.

We are all blessed for having her be a part of our stories and journeys. I am grateful to have had such an amazing example and role model to work with and call a friend.

My thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences to all of her family and friends. Her memory is a part of us now. I will often remember her and smile. Thank you, Wanda, for being you.

Affectionately and with love,
Shay

Wanda, although I wish we would have lived closer together I am grateful for the visits, conversations and memories that we shared. I loved hearing about your work with Autistic children, it was something that connected us. I am filled with joy when I see the pictures of you with children, the joy you so easily and effortlessly share in those photos. The emotion and expression in those pictures, as you were in life, is an inspiration to us all. You were truly an amazing, open soul and although you will be missed I am so grateful that I knew you. Thank you for bringing more joy into the world, may your presence continue to be felt and shine on.

From our days at St Joes to when we met again at St Kateri you never changed. If we needed a hug or just someone to listen you were there, if we needed to vent you were there but most of all when we needed a laugh after or day of work you were there. My heart is broken my friend. I will miss you deeply. RIP Wanda. Till we meet again. My deepest condolences to your beautiful children and all your loving family ๐Ÿ’œ

Weโ€™re so sad you had to leave, you made us smile every single time we were together no matter what was happening. I know you have things to tend to now that we cannot begin to imagine how wonderful it was to have had you for as long as we did, I know you were needed in heaven but Iโ€™m still sad, and a bit mad. We will miss the honest conversations and genuine time we had together with each visit. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you will carry you forever in our hearts and please know how loved you are. When I have a glint of whimsy or a brush with a real life angle I will know it was you, love you forever aunt Wanda๐Ÿ˜‡

Dear Joseph(little Joe), Sabrina(Bina), Joshua(Josh) and family members, we are still in shock, just can't believe of Wanda's passing. We became friends in the early 80's and over the years shared a lot of laughs, some tears and chats about the more serious stuff. Wanda was the most genuine person I have ever met. She wore her heart on her sleeve and never stopped expressing her love for Joe and her children. I hope we can help you keep her memory alive, With deepest sympathy,
Regina, Willis & family.
