Passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 13, 2013. Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Thea, his dear children Mark (Diane), Lynda (Mike) and Thea-Mary (Kerry). Precious Pappa to Eamonn, Rylan and Mae. Also survived by his brother Marvin and mother and father-in-law Bill and Martha Ortyl. Wayne was a member of RHLI Bugle Band and the Hamilton Firefighters Drum Corps. He was a retiree of Proctor and Gamble and most recently employed by Commissionaires of Canada. Wayne loved his family, his garden and his dogs. Wayne was a loyal friend to all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 form 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Cresmount Funeral Home, (322 Fennell Ave.) with Vigil Prayers being offered at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Regina Mundi Roman Catholic Church (631 Mohawk Road W.) with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Ancaster, at a later date.
