Passed away surrounded by the love of his family at St. Peter’s Hospital on November 30, 2017 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Lorenza “Lori”. Proud father of Daniela and Sabrina. Loving “Papa Wayne” to Jacob, Seth, Peyton, Lucas and Joshua, Lexie and Linnea. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Marie Collins. Brother-in-law of Frank (Julie) Terella and Vivian (Wayne) Holditch. Uncle of Andrea (Shane), Victoria (Paul) and Marchello (Natalie) and Michael. Wayne was a dedicated Postal Worker for many years. He was a very spiritual person and served as a Deacon at Selkirk Baptist Church and Ellis Avenue Church. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten. Rest in Peace. Visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday from 5-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter’s Hospital or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
