Wayne is the founder and President of his company DPR, Distribution Personnel Resources Inc. in Brampton, where he leaves behind a staff that has the utmost love and respect for him and will carry on his legacy with pride in DPR. Wayne is a member of the Dundas Valley Sunrise Rotary Club. Wayne is one of the most courageous, moral and honorable men anyone could meet, he has faced his illness with bravery, dignity and charm and while all his family and friends visited him in his final weeks he showed them just how brave and humorous he really is.
Jennifer and Adam are the shining light in Wayne's life and spending time with them in the past few weeks meant the world to him as did spending time with his brother John, Wayne loved him dearly, often referring to John as his little brother. He leaves an enormous hole in the lives of all our friends who will miss his gentle kind way. Wayne was blessed to have his own personal nurses tending to his every need with love and compassion thank you Alisha Cruse, Jacqui Cruse and Tom Banks for your loving care. A thank you to Bernadette Amalfi who made sure we were all fed and Pat Rippon, thank you for what you did! Wayne loved to fish and somehow, I think he will be there next year watching over his best buddy Fred Amalfi guiding him to the "big one" and to Ron Cruse, thanks, you know what for! To Bernd and Una Huegel, you took care of his "Rocky" his pride and joy,he was so grateful that you loveRocky the way you do. Wayne spent many years of his life living in Newfoundland where he raised his family and had many childhood friends who brightened his day when they visited. To everyone who visited him, sent food, called and wrote to him in the last few weeks, a special thank you as Wayne truly felt all the love. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Wayne's life will be held at Marshall Memorial Church Hall, 20 Gilbert Ave (corner of Fiddler's Green and Gilbert) Ancaster, Ontario on Sunday, December 29th from
