Passed peacefully at home on October 22, 2017 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her husband Boleslaw (2000). Loving mother of Diane (Wil). Devoted Babcia of Zoë. Deeply loved aunt of Stanley (Maria), Chet (Anna), Paul “Zbyszek” (Teresa) and John Woloch. Will be missed by Michael, Mark (Mandy), Barbara, Richard, Krystyn (Rick), Christopher (Jessica), Robert, René as well as many nieces and nephews in Poland. Proud great-great-grand aunt of Mia, Oscar, Zenek and Finnigan. Also predeceased by sisters Wladyslawa, Genowefa and brother Czeslaw. Longstanding member of Holy Rosary Society, Kolo Polek, Polish Alliance of Canada, and Stowarzyszenie Bratniej Pomocy Stanislawa Kostki. Visitation will take place at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1309 King Street East (across from Gage Park at the Delta) on Tuesday, October 24 from 6 pm to 8 pm as well as Wednesday, October 25 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7pm to 9 pm with Rosary Service at 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 26 at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Polish Church at 10 am followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. Memorial donations in her honour to the St. Stanislaus Elevator Fund would be appreciated by the family.
