William (Bill) Andrejciw

Entered peacefully into God’s home on August 2, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in his 79th year. Husband and best friend to Margaret, his wife of 58 years. Devoted brother and lifelong caregiver to sister Helen. Loving father of David, Mark, Paul and Randy (Nancy). Proud Papa to Randall, Faith, Joseph, Maria and reunited in heaven with beloved granddaughter Monica. Also survived by sister Anne Palubski. Predeceased by parents Jakob and Anastazia and sister Julia Samuel.

Bill was a proud, long-time employee at Dofasco, an avid outdoorsman and always helpful neighbour. We will remember him for his love of family, his sense of humour and his exemplary work ethic. He showed remarkable courage in the face of various ailments during the last years of his life.

Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday August 6 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. Prayer service at 8:30 pm. Cremation and private interment at a later date.

Special thanks to all the caregivers during the last decade who helped dad, especially the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital who tended to him during these last three months.
