With broken hearts we announce the passing of William McLean Evans, adored husband and best friend of Sonia Evans, on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at home in his 83rd year. Bill, aka "Billy", "Willum" was the loving father of Lori (Darrell), Bill (Colleen) and Cindi. Proud grandfather of Amber, Kyle, Krista, Brayden, Ethan and Alexis. Great-grandfather of Kennedy, Peyton and Bennett. He was a wonderful, caring and selfless man, always putting his family first. He was a dedicated Eaton's employee for over 46 years. He had a passion for sports and activity, excelling in both baseball and hockey which he played into his sixties and beyond. A life well-lived; and a man who was truly loved. A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering is planned for Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 1-3 p.m. at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME-FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
