Peacefully surrounded by his family at St. Peter’s @ Chedoke on September 16, 2013 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Jean for over 60 years. Loving father of Noreen MacDonald (Mike) and Stephen. Cherished grandpa of Michael. Dear brother of Jim (Diane) and brother-in-law of Marge and Shirley. Predeceased by sister Betty and brothers George and Dave. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Bob was a Naval Veteran of WWII, a member of Masonic Lodge Wentworth 166 and a longtime employee of Dofasco. Special thanks to staff of St. Peter’s @ Chedoke for their exceptional care. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at Chalmers Presbyterian Church, 200 Mountain Park Avenue, on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 10am. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chalmers Presbyterian Church or a charity of choice.
