Slack, William Robert "Bill" On June 11th, 2012with his family by his side in his 97th year. Beloved husband of the late Gladys (1986). Lovingcompanion to Norma Sorensen. Much loved father of Bob (Linda), Phil (Yvonne), Marilyn (Peter) and David(Rosemary). Cherishedgrandfather of Kristine (Dave), Kathy (Mike), Steve (Rosaleen), Greg, Kim (Brad) and great grandfather of Kyra, Alyssa, Marissa, Matthew, Peyton, Andrew, Duncan, Kayla,Carly and Benjamin. Bill was a proud WWII veteran and served with the Hamilton Police Services for 34 years until his retirement in 1975. He was an avid long distancecyclistand a competitive championpistol shooter. A special thank you to Dr. Bev and the wonderful staff at St. Peter's Hospital, 3 West for their care and support. His family willreceive friends at theCRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 12 noon until time of service at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter's Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
