Yvonne Nellie Heath

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Sarah Wood; her 13 brothers and sisters; and her beloved former husband John Heath (father of her children). She is survived by her partner in life and love of the past eighteen years Ken Whiteside; and her devoted children Logan and Craig Heath. She will be deeply missed by her daughter(s) in law Jennifer and Christine; her granddaughter(s) Grace and Samantha; and her grandson Ryan.

Bonnie was an Educational Assistant with the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board for over 30 years, and helped shape the lives of countless Kindergarten and special needs children. Over that time she developed lifelong friendships throughout her many years in education.

Bonnie was a kind and loving person full of warmth and happiness, whose home was always open to friends and family. Bonnie's favourite way to spend her time was socializing over a loaf of homemade bread, playing some cards, and having a good laugh.

We would like to thank Doctors Szilvassy and Kouroukis, the staff at the Juravinski Cancer Clinic, the Bayshore palliative care nurses,and the personal care workers from CBI for providing Bonnie with excellent care, and assisting with her health and well being.

Information regarding a “Celebration of Life” for Bonnie will be provided to friends and family later in the new year.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
