Zofia Sokolowski

Peacefully surrounded by her family, Zofia left us to join her beloved husband Jan on May 13, 2015 in her 90th year. Loving mother of Jerzy (Elizabeth) and Krystyna (Jerzy). Cherished Babcia to Eva (Stan), Ola, Magda (Adam), Peter (Kayleigh), Prababcia to Anoushka, Noam, Alexander, Vanessa and Henryk. Dearly missed by her favorite niece Teresa (Stefan), extended family and friends in Poland and Canada. Special thanks to the staff of St. Peter's Hospital Maplewood for their compassionate care and support. Visitation will be held at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL 1309 King Street East (at the Delta, opposite Gage Park) on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Polish Catholic Church on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 9 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery - section 5. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Stanislaus Polish Church would be appreciated.
