Antoinette Hifko

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francesco and Adella, her brother Tom, her husband Fred, daughter Caryl, and son Micheal. Surviving are her brother Frank and her sons Fred M. (Ginger) and Joe (Mary).

Toni was married for sixty-nine years to the love of her life, Fred. They met while attending college at the University of Connecticut. After college they married and started raising their family. They had four children, Fred M., Caryl, Michael and Joe, while pursuing their careers. A grandmother to seven, Fred M. Jr., Nathaniel, Christina, Stephanie, Abigail, Jesse and Sarah. Toni is also great-grandmother to Victoria, Isabella, Harper, Hudson, Jackson, and Alexander.

In addition to loving and caring for her family, Toni pursued her Master’s Degree, from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, while teaching Special Education in the Baltimore County school system. After retirement, Toni enjoyed golfing with her husband, cooking with organic ingredients, reading, and learning all about the birds and wildlife in the area. She discovered her passion for basketry, making beautiful baskets for her family.

Toni loved her Catholic faith and even when unable to attend Mass she always found time for prayer.

She always had a smile for everyone and made friends everywhere she went.

A wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she has left us with loving memories and will be missed by all.
