She was born June 10, 1937 in Onslow County, NC, daughter of the late Isaac Swinson and Sina Waller Swinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edison Hall; son, Johnny Hall; three sisters, Edna Petteway, Thelma Gill and Ruby Padgett; and two brothers, Earl Swinson and Robert Swinson.
Marie was the Cafeteria Manager with the Pender County School System and retired after 35 years of service.
She is survived by two sons, Tommy Hall and his wife, Carla, and Robbie Hall and his wife, Jill, all of Hampstead; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and good friend, Angie Fussell.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Hampstead Baptist Church or Lower Cape Fear Lifecare.
