USAF MSGT (retired) Albert Murph Sr., 69, departed this life on May 27, 2017. He was the son of the late Franklin and Elouise Murph and was born on October 19, 1947 in Brooklyn, New York. He retired at Langley Air Force Base after twenty-three years of service. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic for American Diesel and Turbo Maintenance, officially retiring from full-time employment in 2005. He is survived by his life partner, four kids, four stepchildren, four grandkids, seven brothers and sisters (two deceased), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Albert’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, June 4, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
