Barbara Carolyn Yarrington, 55, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014. She was a native and lifelong resident of Hampton. Barbara was a 1977 graduate of Bethel High School. She was an information operator with Verizon and retired in 2001 after 18 years of service. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Ronald W. Yarrington; and brother, Ben Lassiter, Sr.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at 2pm on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 23 Semple Farm Rd., Hampton, officiated by Pastor Jacob May.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
