Bernie is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Alma Pavon.
Survivors include his seven children, Elizabeth, Jenny, Frank, Kathy, Alta, Solomon and Summer; two siblings, Josey and Irene from New York who affectionately knew him as “Bobby”; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. A Celebration of Bernie’s Life will be at 2 pm with entombment to follow.
