Betty Ann Bentley

Betty Ann Bentley, 88, of Gloucester, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2025, with her family by her side. She was born in Conway, South Carolina, on December 22, 1936. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Bentley, her first husband and loving father of their children William Ezzell Sr., daughter Stormy St. Clair, and son William Ezzell Jr. She is survived by two daughters, Toni Haley (Phil) and Verita Firth (Bruce); grandchildren Billy and Phillip (Ella) Haley, Molly Firth, and Christina Talley (John); great-grandchildren Sofia Tyson, Mason, Alyssa, and Alayna Talley; many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 11:30 AM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM. Pastor David Price of Grafton Baptist Church will be officiating the service at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA, 23666. There will be a reception following the service at 839 Poquoson Ave, Poquoson, VA, 23662.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Walter Reed Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Activities Department, 7602 Meredith Dr., Gloucester, VA, 23061.
