Betty Lou Walker

Betty was preceded in rest by her husband, together in life for 15 years, Gordon E. Walker; father, Robert L. Woodbury; and mother, Blanch Woodbury. She is survived by her sons, Robert Brown and Perry Stewart; daughter, Donna Lawson and husband, Bruce; four grandchildren, Christina Chandler, Angel Brown, Tiffany Hopkins, and Ethen Lawson; three great-grandchildren, Brooke Gitchel, Brooklyn Brown, and Mason Chandler; and future daughter-in-law, Valerie Paul.

Betty was not only a mother to her own children, but considered “Mom” by and to many. She also had a place in her heart for animals of all kinds. Betty always had a smile and a kind word for everyone and will be greatly missed.

A celebration of Betty’s life will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park Library.
