She was preceded in death by her parents Estelle & Loyd Chisholm and daughter Kelly. Gray, her husband of 55 years preceded her in death in 2019.
She is survived by her children Kevin (Debbi), Kenny (Valerie); son-in-law Mike Johnson; grandchildren, Cody (Morgan) and Colin Hansford; sisters Marie (Steve) and Darlene; brothers Rick and Ronnie (Barbara); her niece Lisa (Tommy) and her devoted Shih Tzu Dillon.
With her best friend of over 50 years, Bonnie Rogers, she was the co-owner and operator of 2 successful businesses – TAMA Home Health Care and Lollipop Lane Childcare. Her most cherished role though was as a mother to Kevin, Kenny and Kelly.
Carol enjoyed playing the slots at the casino, crafting, quilting, scrapbooking, painting, and spending time with her family.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Leukemia Society, donations may also be made to First United Church of Christ, located at 1017 Todds Ln, Hampton, VA 23666.
