Catherine was preceded in rest by her grandson, Joshua Thomas O’Neil and parents, Melvin A. and Nora V. Sampson. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Thomas E. O’Neil; son, Gary O’Neil; daughters, Janice O’Neil Sims, Vicky O’Neil McLellan, and Becky Kanaday, who was like a daughter; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Catherine’s life will begin at 12:00 pm, with interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
