to Patrick, Thomas, and Adria: We met when you were involved in Troop 368 and were very much a part of our lives. We always saw your mom as a determined woman with high expectations of herself and her children. She certainly raised you well even in the face of adversities. A truly resilient woman, your mom has left a mark on this world. She will be remembered.

My prayers are continually with you as you walk this life without Cathy's psychical presence, knowing you will never be without her. She devoted her life to each of you and she shall live in your hearts forever. Please know that I am available for whatever it is you think I can do to help you; not only now but in the future. You know where I live. :)

Cathy and I worked side by side to educate the minds of tomorrow. She was a dedicated, caring educator. She also shared spiritual moments with me that I will never forget. I thank Cathy for her prayers and strength. Her strength now shines out for people to see. I know that Cathy is with the Lord with a smiling face. We will miss you.

I was always impressed how Ms. Thornton motivated her kindergarten and first grade classes to excel. She had her first graders writing stories years before it became a requirement.
