Charlotte Leonard Brown

Charlotte Leonard Brown, 67, a native of Bedford, Virginia and a 45 year resident of the Peninsula died peacefully at home Saturday, October 30, 2010. She spent her life cooking and caring for others. She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and friend. Charlotte will be sorely missed and never forgotten. She is preceded in rest by her husband, Philip Sylvester Brown. Charlotte leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Phillip Mark Brown; two daughters, Teresa Y. Cendrowski and her husband Stanley, Angie F. Crichfield and her husband Ray; four grandchildren, Megan and Michael Cendrowski and Brandon and Justin Crichfield; three brothers, Charlie, Tony and Freeman; four sisters, Barbara, Gertrude, Martha and Patricia. The family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 4, from 6 to 7:30 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A Celebration of Charlotte's life will be held Friday, Nov. 5, at 1 PM at the funeral home.
