She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Rex V. McKinley; daughter, Laurianne Crawford; son, Mike Rowles; grandsons, Brandon Powell and Shane Burch; brothers, Ernest Courtney and Robert Courtney; and sister-in-law, Judy McKinley Fernald (Tom).
Chris was an active member of Colony Friends Church in Newport News. She shared her gift of art with her church, creating decorations for special occasions. Chris also used her artistic talents as a hair beautician. She was loved and appreciated by all.
