Christopher J. Czechowski, age 63, passed away suddenly at his home in Hampton, Virginia on February 20, 2017. He was born April 27, 1953 in Leek, England. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1995 and he then continued his service to our country working for the DOD as a lead expeditor at General Dynamics for 18 years. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn Czechowski, and loving father to Stephanie Mull.
He is predeceased by his parents, Weislaw Czechowski and Eileen Zienkiewicz and his brother, John Zienkiewicz. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Czechowski; daughter, Stephanie Mull; grandchildren, Andrew R. Mull, Jr., Sarah Evelyn Mull, Chloe L. Mull, Jonathan Byram, Jasmine Byram, Savannah Byram; great-granddaughter, Alaina Byram; great-grandson, Elliot Holmes; brother, Michael Czechowski; sister-in-law, Debbie Czechowski; and sister, Longina Zienkiewicz.
A memorial service will be held at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 18, 2017.
