Clarence Anderson Yohn, 88, passed away at home on Monday, May 27, 2019, surrounded by his family. He was a native of Perry County, Pennsylvania and a resident of Hampton since 1961. In 2016 he moved to Smithfield, Virginia.
Clarence is a retired veteran of the United State Air Force, having retired at the rank of Master Sargent after serving 21 years.
Clarence was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Raymonde who he met and married while stationed in France, his son David, parents and four siblings. He is survived by his children, Lorna Aylor, and Daniel Yohn and wife Pamela; Daughter-in-law Sheryl Yohn; seven grandchildren, Jeff Yohn, Brian Yohn, Robbie Aylor, Kathryn Aylor, Christopher Yohn, Nicholas Yohn and Rachel Martin; and seven great-grandchildren, Camden, McKenize, Carter, Benson, Zoelle, John Henry and Joanna.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Clarence’s life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 1, at the funeral home.
