Dan Leroy Rife passed away on October 21, 2026, at age 87, in Hampton, Virginia. He was formerly a resident of Roanoke. He is survived by his wife, Dolores D.V. Rife; his children, Robert Rife and Tony Rife; his sister, Sarah Thomas. He is preceded in death by his brother, Max Rife.
He will have a Military Service at Albert G. Horton in Suffolk, Virginia, at a later date.
