David Andrew Peck

David Andrew Peck, age 66 passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

David was born on August 28th,1959 to David and Sally Peck. He grew up in Elmira-a small town in upstate New York. In his youth he was involved in the Boy Scouts where he worked his way to Eagle Scout. He graduated from Southside High School in 1978. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Navy and served in the Gulf War. David retired after 24 years as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy as an Electricians Mate. After retiring from the United States Navy, he went on to work for The Huntington Ingalls/ Newport News Shipyard as an electrician another 15 years before retiring there.

David traveled all over the world while serving in the Navy, although by far is favorite place to spend time at was the St Lawrence River in Clayton NY. where he not only spent his summers as a child but also into his Adulthood spending time at his Families cottage at Sandbay watching for Freighters.

David is survived by his wife, Sirikul Peck, daughter Mandi and Son-in law Jason Schultz, grandson Cody of Seneca Falls, NY, sister Martha Peck of Painted Post, NY, stepchildren: Michelle Carter, Franklyn Cook, Jenifer Webb, and Anita Webb who all reside in Virginia, Sister -in Law Diane Peck, Nephew Dylan Peck and niece Gina Rubenstein and her husband Scott of New Jersey. Alongside, David Peck was a grandfather and great- grandfather to a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will all miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by His mother Sally Peck and brother Thomas Peck.

A visitation for David will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 3, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home.
