He was born on November 25, 1943 in Muskegon, MI to the late Elmore and Doris Webster.
David worked as a mechanical engineer for Howmet Aerospace for 32 years. When David wasn’t working he enjoyed being outdoors, bicycling, canoeing, doing photography and going to the gun range to shoot his favorite selection of firearms.
He is survived by his wife Brenda, along with his children Amy Conaway (Jay), step children Kim Shurkus (Don Cipriano), and James Schaffer. David also leaves behind grandchildren Anthony Shurkus and Logan Long, great grandchildren Leah Shurkus and Jack Shurkus, as well as his brothers Phil Webster (Bonnie) and Wayne Webster (Shelly) and his nephew Evan.
A funeral service will take place on Friday July 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Parklawn Wood Funeral Home, located at 2551 N. Armistead Ave, Hampton VA 23666.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the American Cancer Society.
