Deanna Lynn Felker

Deanna was born on January 29, 1952 in Bangor, Maine, the daughter of Newton Swift and Joan (Dunton) Swift. Deanna spent most of her life in the hospitality field, where she met lots of interesting people. She was very passionate about women's rights, equal rights and an outspoken democrat. Deanna was a lover of cats and dogs. What she loved the most was being a grandma to Penelope and took her job very seriously.

Deanna is survived by her daughter, Tara Felker Brown, her partner Chris Johnson, and granddaughter Penelope Felker, of VA; Along with her brother David Swift of CT; sister Jennifer Woodtke and her husband Robert Woodtke of CT; brother James Swift and his wife Marjorie Swift of CT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews. Deanna loved her dog Willow and Zelda, as well as many pets throughout her years.

Deanna was predeceased by both of her parents Newton and Joan, Sister Tamara, brother Eric, brother Steven and Nephew Jeff.

Deanna's wishes will be honored by a simple cremation at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
