Delores Rose Russ Robens, age 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. She was born on April 13, 1943, in Norfolk County, Virginia, and raised by William and Betty Russ in Sunbury, North Carolina.
Delores is survived by her husband, Raymond Bruner, her brother, Billy Russ, and her brother in law, Frank Ellenor. She is preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Ellenor, and parents. Delores will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she she brightened with her kindness, sharp wit, and passion for baking and gardening.
The family is forever grateful for the love and support given by their friends and extended family, and they would also like to give their thanks to the team at Riverside Hospice for their help and care during their times of hardship.
A celebration of life for Delores will be held Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 7:00 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666.
