I will always remember this loving soul standing at the door at the kingdom Hall, the best greeting and hugs you could ever wish to get on a Sunday... but I also have another memory of him.. I would see him at the meeting on Sundays and wave but I never really was that close to him because I think they would leave right after the meeting so I was at work one day and he came in and he remembered me so he came up with a very cheerful hello and I was so shocked so I went around my counter and gave him a hug and he explain to me how he had a new shirt and he had just gotten a new haircut and he was very excited and I thought boy he is so cute I said this is such a good boy I didn't know at the time that he was 24 but that was a very good experience and I remembered him for that and after that when I saw him holding the doors at the Kingdom Hall I made sure to give him a hug and another thing my husband's name is Lamont

With heartfelt condolences, I was saddened to hear of the passing of De'Quante. I met De'Quante while working at Life Day Treatment Center. He brightened up the room with his smile, freestyle lyrics, and hip-hop dancing. A true warrior who smiled through it all and never complained. You have won the race, rest now in His arms. Blessings of peace and prayers of comfort to the family. God bless each of you during this time.

Sincerely,
Dionne Randall

Words cannot express everything I am feeling right now. De'Quante was such an amazing soul! His laugh, his smile...I will always cherish the memories of you dancing with your hoodie zipped up over your head...your free-styling moments...your overall presence! You truly were "Born to lead, and created to love!"

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Ms. Johnson and the rest of the family.

My cousin! Wow, I was 7 or 8 when I got to meet you, when I visited aunt Gladys during the summer. We’ve shared so many memories and I will always remember them and hold them dear to my heart.

His smile. His laughter. His genuineness. De’Quante was a gift from God and he enriched the lives of all who knew him. Each of us are obligated to keep his spirit alive by being kind to one another. His flame will NEVER be extinguished.
