

Diana Lee Moss was born on September 28, 1946, in Newport News, Virginia to Margaret and Fred Moss. She grew up in Hampton, Virginia with her sister Vera and brother Freddy. After completing her high school education, Diana got married and moved with her husband all around the country, including Honolulu, Hawaii, before eventually returning to Virginia.
It was in Virginia that she gave birth to her only child, Sean, marking a new phase in her life. Later on, the family moved to Maryland, where they resided for several years until Sean graduated from high school. Eventually, Diana returned to Hampton, Virginia, where she spent the rest of her life with Sean and her younger brother, Chris.
On August 18, 2024, Diana passed away peacefully with Sean by her side. She found solace in knowing she was not alone and would always be remembered. Throughout her life journey, Diana touched the hearts of everyone she met with her positive energy and gentle demeanor. She had a special love for animals and would often support charities or adopt the occasional stray. Diana will forever be remembered for her inner beauty, compassion for others, strength of character, resilience against challenges, and graceful nature. She is survived by her son, Sean, and her brother, Chris.
A public visitation for Diana will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666.
