

In 2003, after a career spanning 36 years with Northrop Grumman, he retired as a quality inspector. He was a member of Hampton Baptist Church and was a past member of the Agathon Club. Hobbies and interests included hunting, fishing, and cooking. The most important part of his life was his family, especially being with his grandchildren.
Preceding him in rest are his father, Raymond S. Barbour; mother, Bertie Hackney; and brothers, Lois “Stumpy” Barbour and R.S. “Ray” Barbour. Surviving members of his family include his wife of 38 years, Joanne Corbett Barbour; children, Talmadge Barbour, and Beth Moore and husband Patrick; grandchildren, Tristen Barbour and Savannah Moore; father-in-law, Claude Corbett; and cousin, Bob Wilkerson and numerous other cousins.
A celebration of Donny's life will be held graveside, Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 10:30 AM at Parklawn Memorial Park. Following the graveside service, a memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM at Hampton Baptist Church, with a reception to follow.
