I was sad when I learned of my cousin Dotties illness. In the past few years we shared family stories & pictures.
She played an important roll in helping me put our family history together.
For her kindness of sharing, her enthusiasm to know more & her interest of our past; I will always be thankful.
Charlie & family, may you find peace & comfort in the memories you have of the good times.

I was so little when my family left Va. for California.
About 5, I believe.
But she was my cousin and 10 years older.
Her face is familiar and both warm and sweet.
I must have been in her presence during the several times my family returned to visit.
I have to say my second thought after learning she’s passed was that she may have baby sat for my sister Darlene and me.
I’ve always felt I missed a lot growing up in California without knowing my extended family very well.
Even from a distance I always loved her and every one else In our family I may or may not have met.
God bless and Rest In Peace.
My condolences to all the family out there.
